TOM GOFF

TOM is a founding partner in Blandford Bloodstock and is an internationally renowned judge of thoroughbreds.  His track record of top class yearling purchases include the likes of EMILY UPJOHN, MISS YODA, DUTCH ART, ELUSIVE KATE and JACK HOBBS.  Horses in Training buys include top miler EXCELEBRATION.  South African stars are headed by DANCER’S DAUGHTER.  A former assistant to champion trainer Dick Hern, Tom served on the Epsom Downs Race Committee from 2003 – 10 and was a director of The National Stud from 2011 – 18.  He is the European Representative for Fasig-Tipton Sales, USA and also serves on the board of the Racehorse Owners Association.

RICHARD BROWN

RICHARD is a founding partner in Blandford Bloodstock and is widely recognised as one of the most talented agents in the business.  His long catalogue of successful buys is headed by Derby hero DESERT CROWN, triple Group 1 winner PERFECT POWER and Caulfield Cup winner DURSTON.  Other purchases include champion DREAM AHEAD, Classic heroine TEPPAL, I’M A DREAMER and ARIEGE.  Horses in Training are led by RECKLESS ABANDON.  Richard, who spent his formative years working on stud farms in the USA, England and New Zealand, deals in all aspects of bloodstock.  He is a Council Member of the Federation of Bloodstock Agents.

STUART BOMAN

STUART has been with Blandford Bloodstock for more than a decade, and became a partner in 2020.  His many successes are headed by the brilliant, multiple Group 1 winner ZAAKI – who has earned over A$5.7 million since being bought for 150,000gns – and TOP RANKED, winner of the Epsom Handicap as well as EURO CHARLINE and CRACKERJACK KING.  Other notable purchases include SYDNEYARMS CHELSEA, winner of the Prix Six Perfections, German Classic winner AXANA, Group winners RED TEA, JET AWAY, OTTOMAN EMPEROR, MOOHAJIM and NISREEN.  He deals in all aspects of the industry, but specialises in horses in training and all matters relating to Australia, Hong Kong and the USA.  A graduate of the inaugural Darley Flying Start, he is a qualified solicitor in Australia and also worked for Arrowfield Stud.

TOM BIGGS

Tom joined Blandford Bloodstock in 2015 and, having established a reputation as an astute agent, became a partner in 2020. The dual Group 3 winner TEMPUS was purchased ‘in-training’ for just 25,000gns and GLEN SHIEL, another HIT purchase, provided him with a first Group 1 winner in the British Champions Sprint at Ascot.  Tom also excels in selecting Breeze-Up horses with recent successes including the Coventry Stakes winner BRADSELL as well as the Listed winners SHUMOOKHI and MEHMENTO.  Group 3 Prix Eclipse winner EDDIE’S BOY was purchased as a yearling for 45,000gns, who having won over £200,000 in prize money sold for 320,000 GNS as a two-year-old. His ability to spot untapped potential was also highlighted when purchasing SNOWY WINTER for just €7,500 at the Goffs February Sale – having won six races and earning black type, she went on to realise a remarkable 725,000gns at the Tattersalls December Sales.
