Following the success Byculla Thoroughbreds has achieved in recent years, with Peter Chapple-Hyam’s Hunter Street landing the Group 3 Cornwallis Stakes and a consistent 75% winners to runners ratio, our GOAL is to make Byculla Thoroughbreds (4) the best syndicate that Blandford Bloodstock has launched to date.

The SYNDICATE will purchase up to 8 yearlings in September / October 2006 to join some of England’s leading trainers including Peter Chapple-Hyam, Marcus Tregoning, John Gosden, William Jarvis, James Toller, David Simcock, Ed Dunlop & Neville Callaghan.

MONEY is raised from contributions of £10,000.  This ONE-OFF payment is all inclusive and covers purchases, insurance, training costs for all the horses for the 2007 and 2008 Flat Racing seasons.  The syndicate runs from October 2006 to October 2008 although horses may be sold at any time during its duration. Any horses remaining in the syndicate’s ownership in October 2008 will be sold.  A final account is produced and a closing payment is made to members.

TOP priority is that members enjoy themselves.  There are regular Open Days with trainers, hospitality at the races and free entry to racecourses.

COMMUNICATION is excellent and members are constantly updated via e-mail, fax or their preferred method and there are regular newsletters.

CHARGES are extremely competitive.  Blandford Bloodstock charges a 5% commission on bloodstock transactions.  A management fee of £3,000 per horse per annum is charged and appointed trainers receive a commission on the sale of a horse sold out of their care.  Byculla Thoroughbreds is registered for VAT and, in line with Customs and Excise guidelines, Blandford Bloodstock sponsors the syndicate.
