Blandford in action at Tattersalls

BLANDFORD Bloodstock were among the buyers at the Tattersalls February Sale where they signed the ticket for four lots.

They paid 30,000gns for lot 58 a filly called Merciful who was consigned by Darley. The unraced daughter of Cape Cross is a half-sister to Oaks third Pictavia as well as another six winners.

Her dam, Insijaam, was a winner at Listed level and is a half-sister to Champion Stakes winner Hatoof and Breeder’s Cup Mile victor Irish Prize.

Blandford secured lot 240 News Show for 7,500gns. The daughter of Sinndar, now three, raced twice at two finishing fourth in a maiden at Yarmouth on her last start.
