More yearlings purchased at Tattersalls

BLANDFORD Bloodstock purchased four yearlings at the December Yearling Sales at Tattersalls on Monday.

They secured a racy son of Kodiac (lot 224) for 52,000gns. This colt is out of an unraced Kheyleyf mare who is a half-sister to champion Independence, who herself is the dam of Group 1 winner Mount Nelson and Stakes winner Monitor Closely.

Another purchase that takes the eye is lot 52 a son of leading two-year-old stallion Elusive City. This colt cost 30,000gns and is related to a juvenile winner and comes from the family of Bustan and Mixed Intention.

Blandford also bought a colt by Indian Haven (lot239) for 11,000 and a daughter of Motivator for 1,000gns.
