Blandford active at HIT sale

BLANDFORD Bloodstock was active at last week’s Horses In Training Sale at Tattersalls where they purchased six lots.

Blandford went to 42,000gns for Ottoman Empire, a four-time winner by Pivotal. The five-year-old has an impressive record on the all-weather, winning four of his five races.

Mabait was knocked down to Blandford for 40,000gns. Trained by Luca Cumani, the son of Kyllachy has proved a real money spinner with seven victories including in a Listed race at Pontefract.

Recent Yarmouth winner Cloud Rock looked to have a progressive profile and was secured by Blandford for 32,000gns.
