Blandford Bloodstock

Successful Doncaster for Blandford

BLANDFORD were once again among the leading buyers at Doncaster’s Premier Yearling sale where they purchased 15 lots.

Blandford went to £80,000 to secure a son of Kheleyf who is a half brother to last season’s top juvenile Wootton Bassett.

They went to the same price for lot 278 a colt by Kyllachy. This racy individual is out of a dual winner in Molly Brown who has already produced five winners from six runners including Stakes placed Doctor Brown.

Another purchase of note is lot 281 a son of red-hot sire Invincible Spirit. He cost £48,000 and comes from a strong ‘black type’ producing family.

The same can be said for lot 404, a daughter of Royal Applause who cost Blandford £40,000. She is a full-sister to Albany Stakes winner Hibaayeb.
